Her early career saw her join the junior squad of the German Ski Association, where she won various junior competitions both nationally and internationally, including securing the Youth Cup overall victory. Nowak’s dedication and talent quickly advanced her through the ranks, positioning her as a prominent figure in the emerging women’s Nordic combined sport.
Nowak’s career highlights include multiple significant achievements. In the 2019/20 season, she won a bronze medal at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Prémanon, France. This was followed by a gold medal in the individual competition at the Junior World Championships in Oberwiesenthal, Germany, where she also earned a silver medal with the mixed team. The 2020/21 season marked a turning point with her becoming the first German champion in Nordic combined history. She competed in the inaugural Women’s Nordic Combined World Cup in Ramsau, placing 13th, and participated in her first Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, finishing 18th. Her progress continued in the 2021/22 season, seeing her achieve her first World Cup podium with a third-place finish in the mixed team event in Val di Fiemme, Italy. She also secured another gold medal at the Junior World Championships in Zakopane.
The 2022/23 season solidified Nowak’s position at the top of the sport, as she achieved her first individual World Cup podium with a second-place finish in Schonach and won a silver medal with the mixed team at the World Championships in Planica. The 2023/24 season saw her consistently perform in the top 10 in World Cup races, with a season-best fourth-place finish in Otepää, and a third-place team podium in Trondheim. She also became a three-time German champion in the summer of 2024. These achievements highlight her consistent performance and growing influence in Nordic combined skiing.
