Jerod Mayo

Jerod Mayo is an accomplished former NFL linebacker and coach, recognized for his leadership on the field and in coaching roles. After being drafted 10th overall by the New England Patriots in the 2008 NFL Draft, Jerod Mayo made an immediate impact in his professional playing career. He started in Week 1, earning the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Month for October 2008, and was subsequently awarded the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year. Prior to his professional debut, Mayo excelled at the University of Tennessee, playing for the Volunteers football team from 2004 to 2007.
