Jerry Kramer

Jerry Kramer, an integral guard and placekicker for the Green Bay Packers, achieved an unparalleled five NFL championships and two Super Bowl victories across his distinguished 11-season professional career. After being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 1958 NFL Draft, Kramer quickly became a foundational component of the team’s offensive line, notably for his role in the famed ‘Packers sweep’ play. He consistently earned All-NFL honors, beginning in 1960, and was selected to play in three Pro Bowls. Prior to his professional career, Kramer’s collegiate excellence was recognized with the retirement of his number 64 jersey at the University of Idaho in 1963.

He penned several acclaimed books, including the best-selling ‘Instant Replay,’ which offered an intimate account of the Packers’ historic 1967 season and highlighted his iconic block in the ‘Ice Bowl.’ He also leveraged his deep understanding of the game as a color commentator for major networks, including CBS and NBC.
