Jesse Enkamp

Jesse Enkamp grew up immersed in martial arts, training alongside his brother Oliver in their parents’ martial arts school in Sweden. His early life involved exposure to various martial arts, including Karate, kickboxing, and Muay Thai, fostered by the diverse instructors invited by his parents. After high school, Enkamp moved to Okinawa, Japan, the birthplace of Karate, to further his studies and explore the art’s origins. This period in Japan significantly shaped his perspective and career, leading him to start a blog documenting his training and discoveries. This platform quickly gained traction, becoming the world’s leading Karate blog and fostering a community of like-minded individuals he refers to as “Karate Nerds.”

Upon returning to Sweden, Enkamp dedicated himself to competitive Karate, overcoming previous setbacks to earn a spot on the national team. He represented Sweden in various international tournaments, including the Premier League, Nordic, European, and World Championships (WKF). After a decade of high-level competition, Enkamp expanded his focus to knowledge sharing and community development. He launched a YouTube channel where he collaborates with experts, world champions, and masters from diverse martial arts disciplines. This channel has garnered millions of followers, further solidifying his role as a prominent figure in the martial arts community.

He founded Seishin International, a karate-gi brand, further demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit within the martial arts industry.
