Jessica Harmon

Jessica Harmon was born in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, on December 27, 1985. Her early career in acting began in the late 1990s, with roles in television series such as “The Outer Limits” (1997-1998) and “The New Addams Family” (1998). She continued to work in television, appearing in “Pasadena” (2001-2002) and “Life As We Know It” (2004). Her film credits started with “Agent Cody Banks” in 2003, followed by “Black Christmas” and “Hollow Man 2” in 2006, establishing her presence in various genres.

Over the years, Harmon expanded her acting portfolio with notable roles in several popular series, including FBI Agent Dale Bozzio in “iZombie” (2015–2019) across 32 episodes, and Niylah in “The 100” (2016–2020) for 31 episodes, where she also made her directorial debut. Her work as an actress spans dozens of films and TV shows, with appearances in “Supernatural,” “Arrow,” and “Taken.” In 2010, she received a Leo Award for Best Performance in a Music, Comedy or Variety Program or Series for her role in the television pilot “Wolf Canyon.”

Transitioning into directing, Harmon has helmed numerous TV movies for networks such as Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, UP TV, Lifetime, Great American Family, and CBS. Her directorial projects include “My Best Friends Wedding” (2020), “A Christmas Star” (2021), “Game, Set, Love” (2022), “A Paris Proposal” (2023), and multiple “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries” films (2023-2024). She co-directed “Tipline Mysteries: Dial 1 for Murder” (2024) with her mother, Cynde Harmon, showcasing a family legacy in filmmaking. She also has an upcoming directorial project, the TV Movie “All the Familiar Places,” which is currently in pre-production.
