Jim Rosenthal is an English sports presenter and commentator, known for his extensive coverage across various sports and his enduring broadcasting career. After establishing his career foundations in print journalism at the Oxford Mail in the late 1960s and then contributing to BBC Radio Birmingham and the BBC Radio 2 Sports Unit between 1976 and 1980, Jim Rosenthal launched his distinguished television career in 1980 when he joined ITV. This initiated a prolific 28-year tenure that solidified his status as a leading figure in sports broadcasting. During this extensive period, Rosenthal covered an impressive eight FIFA World Cups, three Rugby World Cups, and two Olympic Games.

Since 2014, Rosenthal has provided engaging commentary for Channel 4’s widely watched Crufts coverage, demonstrating his versatile appeal to varied audiences. More recently, Rosenthal expanded his reach into radio, becoming the ‘Voice of JACK’ for Oxfordshire’s JACK branded radio stations in 2019, and presenting on JACK’s Wake Up Call breakfast show starting in 2021.
