Joe Ledley

Joe Ledley is a retired Welsh professional footballer who made significant contributions as a central midfielder for clubs like Cardiff City, Celtic, and Crystal Palace, and represented Wales at UEFA Euro 2016. After making his senior debut for Championship side Cardiff City in 2004 at just 17 years old, Joe Ledley quickly established himself as a pivotal central midfielder, playing a key role for six years. During his tenure, he notably led the club to the FA Cup Final in 2008 and the Championship play-off final in 2010. Ledley’s individual accolades at Cardiff City included being named Welsh Club Player of the Year in both 2007 and 2008, earning a place in the PFA Championship Team of the Year for the 2008-09 season, and receiving the Football League Goal of the Season award in 2007.

He achieved his 50th international cap for Wales in 2013 and scored his first international goal in 2007.
