Joseph John Pagliarulo – better known to many as Joe Pags – is an American nationally syndicated radio and television talk show host. His hugely popular show covers politics, entertainment, pop culture and everyday life in general and has been named by Newsmax as one of the most influential talk shows in the US. Pagliarulo has also frequently appeared on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News and has also filled in as guest host for Glenn Beck on numerous occasions on his radio and television programs.
Born in New York, Pagliarulo started his radio career in Palm Beach County, Florida in 1989 before working mostly in television news, including as morning and noon anchor at WWMT (based in Grand Rapids, Michigan) and becoming the main anchor at Michigan’s WEYI-TV. After returning to radio in 2005 Pagliarulo started his first daily talk show, The Joe Pags Show. The show was first aired on iHeartMedia’s WOAI 1200 based in San Antonio, Texas. In 2017 The Joe Pags show started its own syndication via Compass Media Networks and was broadcast on more than 90 stations. Pags now also hosts The Weekend with Joe Pags – a weekend nationally syndicated talk show.
Pagliarulo bravely fought testicular cancer in 2011 and made a complete recovery. He has received numerous broadcasting awards for his show, which was listed in Talkers Magazine’s Heavy Hundred Top 25.
