Beginning his professional wrestling journey in 2003 under the name ‘Thoruf Marius’ after training with Eddie Sharkey, Ruud developed his craft across various promotions. In 2007, he further honed his skills in Japan, training and competing with Pro Wrestling Noah in both tag team and singles matches.
Ruud also made a heartfelt return to WWE for a Bray Wyatt tribute on SmackDown in August 2023.
