Joel Dahmen

Joel Dahmen, born on November 11, 1987, in Clarkston, Washington, established himself in golf from a young age. He was a two-time Washington Interscholastic Activities Association 3A state golf champion during his high school career at Clarkston High School. He then played collegiately for one year at the University of Washington in Seattle before turning professional in 2010. His early professional years included playing on PGA Tour Canada, where he experienced limited success between 2010 and 2013.

His career saw a turning point in 2014 when he secured two victories on the PGA Tour Canada, subsequently topping the Order of Merit. This performance earned him a Web.com Tour card for the 2015 season. On the Web.com Tour, Dahmen consistently made cuts, with 12 out of 25 events in 2015 and 13 out of 20 events in 2016. He notably secured his PGA Tour card for the 2016–17 season by finishing 25th on the money list. His progression continued, culminating in his first PGA Tour victory at the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship in March 2021.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dahmen has navigated significant personal challenges, including a battle with testicular cancer. He has also gained broader recognition through his appearances in the sports documentary series “Full Swing.” In 2025, he successfully retained his PGA Tour Card on the final day of the FedEx Cup Fall Series at the RSM Classic, finishing 124th in the FedEx Cup standings. In July 2025, it was announced that he split with his long-time caddie and childhood friend, Geno Bonnalie.
