Everything from athletics to ice hockey, biathlon and alpine skiing, Lochner pushed himself throughout his teenage years. After finding a passion for bobsleighing, Lochner knew nothing could compare to the thrill of the game. Making his international debut for Germany in 2015, Lochner has found himself on the podium since day one. Now at the top of his game, Lochner is shaking up the competition.

Early on in Lochner’s 2020 campaign, he found his third triumphant victory at the World Cup in St. Moritz. The world realised then how unstoppable Lochner is on the sporting battlefield. Not only did he leave the competition in the icy dust, but Lochner maintained his place in the number one spot. Taking home the World Cup title, Lochner has found his groove in his adrenaline-fuelled discipline. Navigating his way through the serpentine bends of the bobsleigh run, Lochner is precise and determined. Lochner’s debut World Championships in Winterberg saw him claim the silver for the 2-man bobsleigh event. From his breakthrough moment on the ice, Lochner has proved himself a force to be reckoned with.
