Perhaps best known for her role co-starring as Vivian Johnson in Emmy Award-winning Amazon Prime show The Bay, Karrueche Tran has turned her hand to a range of endeavors throughout show-business and fashion, taking on the roles of actress, celebrity stylist, model, and red-carpet host.
From the early 2010’s, Tran forged a name for herself modelling cutting-edge streetwear brands like Crooks and Castles and Le Coq Sportif, before confidently stepping up to the plate for her very first acting role, co-starring in 2013’s The Bay. The prospect would have easily shaken any other first-time actor, but Tran took the three-year role entirely in her stride, building momentum for unforgettable appearances in photographer Mike Miller’s book West Coast Girls before taking on red-carpet hosting duties throughout the BET weekend in 2014. With a densely packed run of magazine covers and features for ELLE, Flaunt, The Hundreds and Bleu Magazine, Tran continues to score high-profile roles alongside Hollywood giants: she recently acted opposite Russell Crow and Ryan Gosling in 2016’s The Nice Guys.
Having secured another leading role as Virginia Loc in TNT’s drama series Claws, which returned for its third season in 2019, Tran has recently given several outspoken interviews on body-image and self-worth, showing herself to be one of the hottest and most multi-faceted talents in global television, film and fashion working today.
