John Fugelsang

John Joseph Fugelsang was born on September 3, 1969, in Long Island, New York. His early life was shaped by his parents, a former Carmelite nun and a former Franciscan friar. He pursued higher education at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, earning a degree in Film and Television. Additionally, he refined his theatrical skills through studies at the Boston University Theatre Institute and the Circle in the Square Theatre. Fugelsang’s career began to take shape with appearances as an actor and comedian.

Over the years, Fugelsang has established a diverse career in entertainment and media. As an actor, he has appeared in films such as “Coyote Ugly” (2000) and “Somewhere in the City” (1998), as well as television series including “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Providence” (1999–2002), and “The Michael Richards Show” (2000). His comedic talents led him to perform at events like the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the Just for Laughs Festival in Montréal, alongside over 20 appearances on the talk show “Politically Incorrect.” In 2007, he premiered his solo show “All The Wrong Reasons” Off Broadway, which earned a Drama League nomination for Distinguished Performance. He has co-hosted “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and hosted “VH1 Archives,” showcasing his ability to lead and entertain across different formats.

Fugelsang’s career also includes significant work as a television host and political commentator. He co-hosted John McEnroe’s CNBC talk show in 2004, was a regular on CNBC’s “Bullseye” and “Red Eye” on Fox News, and hosted “The World Series of Blackjack” on GSN. From 2013 to 2013, he hosted Current TV’s political talk show “Viewpoint.” Since 2015, Fugelsang has been the host of “Tell Me Everything,” a progressive talk show on Sirius XM Insight. He is also known for being a contributor to HuffPost and a regular commentator on “The Stephanie Miller Show,” additionally touring with the “Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour.”
