Scream Queen Linnea Quigley is an American actress, model, singer, author and film producer best known for appearing in many horror films. Often referred to as a B movie actress thanks to her numerous appearances in low-budget horror movies throughout the 80’s and 90’s, her most notable roles include the part of a teenage punk in the horror classic The Return of the Living Dead (1985). Her other movie credits include Creepozoids, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama, Savage Streets, Nightmare Sisters and Night of the Demons.
Born in Iowa, Quigley moved to Los Angeles in the late 1970s to pursue an acting career. Her friends encouraged her to take up acting and learn guitar, and she began to appear as an extra in various movies before landing her first acting role in Fairy Tales in 1978. After appearing is various B movies, she won her first bigger role in the slasher film Graduation Day in 1981. Roles soon followed in films including Silent Night, Deadly Night and Savage Streets, and Quigley continued to appear in low-budget movies as home video became popular, working repeatedly with directors Kevin Tenney and David DeCoteau.
In the late 1980s Quigley moved away from the horror genre to star in the first two Vice Academy comedy movies, but later returned to being cast in horror films. Multi-talented Quigley is also the author of three books, a successful singer and a dedicated animal rights activist.
