John Noble’s distinguished career in the performing arts began in theatre, where he served as Artistic Director for the Stage Company of South Australia from 1977 to 1987, directing over 80 plays. This tenure included the production of ‘Sons of Cain’ on London’s West End in 1986, showcasing his directorial prowess internationally. He further contributed to arts education as Head of Drama at Brent St. School of Arts (Sydney) from 1997 to 2000.

His career diversified into significant voice acting work across major video game titles and animated series. Notable voice contributions include Dragon Spirit in ‘The Last Airbender’ (2010), Leland Monroe in the critically acclaimed video game ‘L.A. Noire’ (2011), and Unicron in the animated series ‘Transformers: Prime,’ spanning from 2010 to 2013.
Additionally, Noble contributed his voice talents as Ilthuran to the animated series ‘Star Trek: Prodigy’ from 2021 to 2024.
