Johnny Whitworth

Johnny Whitworth was born on October 31, 1975, in Charleston, South Carolina. He later lived in Plano, Texas, with his father before moving to Los Angeles at the age of 15 to pursue acting professionally. His career began with a guest appearance on “Party of Five” in 1994, followed by his film debut in “Bye Bye Love” in 1995. The same year, he gained recognition for his role as A.J. in “Empire Records.” Whitworth continued to establish himself in Hollywood through roles in significant films such as Francis Ford Coppola’s “The Rainmaker” (1997), “3:10 to Yuma” (2007), and “Limitless” (2011), where he starred alongside notable talents.

Over his career, Whitworth has appeared in over 50 film and television projects, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to his craft. He took on a recurring role as Detective Jake Berkeley in the CBS crime drama “CSI: Miami” from 2006 to 2010, and portrayed the villain Blackout in the Marvel superhero film “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” (2011). His television work also includes a recurring role as Cage Wallace in The CW’s series “The 100” from 2014 to 2015, and as Markos in NBC’s “Blindspot” from 2015 to 2020.
