Jonathan Andrew Hume

Jonathan Andrew Hume, an accomplished stage and screen actor, is recognized for his commanding lead roles in West End productions and significant contributions to major film soundtracks. He garnered critical acclaim for his performance as ‘Kevin J.’ and ‘Ali’ in the Original West End Production of Come From Away in 2021, a role that earned him a nomination for Best British Actor in a Musical at the Black British Theatre Awards. That same year, Hume also took on the iconic role of ‘George Washington’ in Hamilton and captivated audiences as ‘Simba’ in The Lion King in both London and Singapore. His early professional journey included robust vocal contributions as a musician and vocalist for the film soundtracks of Amazing Grace (2006), Pride (2007), and 10,000 BC (2008).
