Jordan De Goey

Jordan De Goey is an explosive Australian rules footballer who has showcased his dynamic capabilities as a midfielder and forward for the Collingwood Football Club. After being selected as the 5th overall pick in the 2014 national draft, Jordan De Goey went on to begin his professional career as an explosive midfielder and forward for the Collingwood Football Club. Having already showcased significant talent, including kicking three goals in the 2014 TAC Cup Grand Final which contributed to the Oakleigh Chargers’ premiership victory, De Goey made his highly anticipated AFL debut in Round 1 of the 2015 season against the Brisbane Lions. His immediate impact was recognized in Round 20 of his debut season when he earned an AFL Rising Star nomination after a notable performance against Sydney, collecting 18 disposals and 12 tackles.

He was instrumental in the club’s 2023 AFL premiership win, delivering critical performances in the finals series. Notably, in the 2023 Preliminary Final against the Greater Western Sydney Giants, De Goey recorded an impactful 34 disposals and 13 clearances. His exceptional contributions throughout the season also saw him named in the initial All-Australian squad of 44, reaffirming his position as a central figure and top-tier talent in the league.
