Jose Bolanos

Jose Bolanos, a native of Tacoma, initially worked in the restaurant industry before pursuing a career in stand-up comedy at the age of 23. His talent was recognized when KING-TV’s Evening Magazine named him the Best Comedian in Western Washington. This recognition led to an audition for a local Seattle radio show, marking a turning point in his career.

In August 2011, Bolanos became the third chair on the “Brooke & Jubal in The Morning” show, where he introduced audiences to his range of impressions and comedic characters. The show, later rebranded as Brooke & Jeffrey, gained national syndication through Premier Networks, broadcasting on over 50 stations across the United States. Bolanos’s contributions are central to popular segments like “Drunk Movie Reviews” and “Whatcha Doin’ At The Courthouse.”

Beyond radio, Bolanos has appeared as a stand-up comedian on television networks such as USA Network, FOX, and NBC. He continues to perform, headlining comedy clubs and theaters throughout the USA, using his accurate impressions, accents, and personal stories to entertain audiences. He is also recognized for his presence on various social media platforms as a comedian, foodie, and streamer.
