About

Joshua Michael Peck, born on November 10, 1986, in New York City, began his acting career in the late 1990s. His early work included a notable role on “The Amanda Show” from 2000 to 2002. Peck achieved widespread recognition for his portrayal of Josh Nichols in the Nickelodeon sitcom “Drake & Josh,” which aired from 2004 to 2007. This role led to two television films in 2006 and 2008, solidifying his status in children’s television.

Peck also expanded into film roles, including “Mean Creek” (2004), “Drillbit Taylor” (2008), “The Wackness” (2008), “ATM” (2012), “Red Dawn” (2012), and “Battle of the Year” (2013). He lent his voice to the character of Eddie in the “Ice Age” franchise, starting with “Ice Age: The Meltdown” (2006) and continuing through several sequels. Additionally, he voiced Casey Jones in the animated series “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” from 2012 to 2017. His career progression includes a main role in the Disney+ series “Turner & Hooch” (2021) and an appearance in Christopher Nolan’s film “Oppenheimer” (2023).

Beyond traditional acting, Peck embraced digital media, launching a comedic lifestyle YouTube channel, Shua Vlogs, in 2017, featuring his wife and other content creators. He has also co-hosted the “Good Guys” podcast and hosts “Curious with Josh Peck,” interviewing various public figures. His memoir, “Happy People Are Annoying,” released in 2022, provided personal insights into his life and career, including his past struggles with addiction and his journey to sobriety since 2008.
