Josie Totah

Josie Totah is an acclaimed actress, writer, and producer known for her dynamic performances across television and film, making her a prominent figure in entertainment and LGBTQ+ advocacy. After appearing in an AwessomenessTV production in 2012, Josie Totah quickly established herself as an emerging talent with a recurring role as Stuart Wooten in the Disney Channel series Jessie from 2013 to 2015. Her early work also included a supporting role in the ABC comedy Back in the Game in 2013. In 2015, Totah joined the cast of Fox’s hit series Glee for its sixth and final season, where she played Myron Muskovitz, a strong-armed prodigy.

Totah is also a recurring voice actor, lending her voice to Natalie in the Netflix animated series Big Mouth, a role that contributed to an Emmy nomination for the episode ‘The New Me.’ Beyond her acting, Totah has made significant contributions as a writer and producer, having sold her first television pitch, AUNT NANCY, to Universal Television/NBC at age 15. She later served as a producer on Saved by the Bell (2020-2021) and continues to develop new projects. Her recent work includes Amy Poehler’s film Moxie in 2021, and a co-leading role in AppleTV+’s The Buccaneers (2023-2025). Totah is also slated for the upcoming feature film Faces of Death.
