Juan Guillermo Cuadrado Bello, better known as Juan Cuadrado, is a footballer from Colombia who plays for Juventus and for the Colombian national team. A versatile player; he has played as a midfielder, a forward and as a winger. He was born in Necocli in 1988 and grew up in Tumaco.
As a youth he played for a local club Atletico Uraba before moving to the youth academy of Independiente Medellin.
In 2009 he transferred to Udinese in Italy then loaned to Lecce and transferred to Fiorentina. In 2015 he joined Chelsea and relocated to the UK to start his career in the Premier League. With Chelsea, he was part of the team that went on to win the Premier League in 2014/15. He was then was put on loan to Juventus and in 2017 this became a permanent move.
In 2019 he made his 150th appearance for the club.
Internationally he first played for the Colombia national side in 2010. He has been involved in the Copa America tournaments and the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cup.
