Chad Allegra, best known by his ring name Karl Anderson and his nickname The Machine Gun, is an Impact Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling professional wrestler. Anderson is most known for his tag team performance, notably in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a four-time IWGP Tag Team Champion. He also holds the record for the longest reign and most title defenses, which he achieved with previous partner Giant Bernard during his first reign.
Anderson and Bernard also held the Pro Wrestling Noah’s GHC Tag Team Championship, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter named them tag team of the year in 2011. Anderson is a founding member and second leader of the Bullet Club stable, as well as a three-time winner of NJPW’s elite tag team competition, the G1/World Tag League, partnering Bernard in 2009, Hirooki Goto in 2012, and Doc Gallows in 2013. Between 2007 and 2009, he performed for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), a Southern California-based independent promotion.
In 2021, Anderson made his AEW debut with Doc Gallows as the tag team The Good Brothers, saving Kenny Omega from Jon Moxley and doing the “Too Sweet” hand motion with Omega and The Young Bucks at the close of AEW Dynamite New Year’s Smash Night 1. Anderson made his video game debut in WWE alongside Gallows. He’s also a playable character in WWE 2K18, WWE 2K19, WWE 2K20, and WWE 2K Battlegrounds. Anderson co-hosts the Talk N Shop podcast with Gallows and Rocky Romero. He keeps up with his fans on Instagram, where he boasts 700,000 followers.
