Plummer’s collegiate accolades also include being a two-time AVCA Player of the Year in 2017 and 2018, a three-time AVCA First Team All-American, and the recipient of the prestigious James E. Sullivan Award in 2019 as the best amateur athlete in the United States. She also received the Honda Sport Award for Volleyball and the Senior CLASS Award in 2019. Demonstrating her diverse talent early in her career, Plummer achieved international recognition by earning a Gold Medal at the 2014 FIVB Beach Women’s U17 World Championship and a Silver Medal at the 2015 FIVB U18 World Championships, making her the only player in history to win FIVB World Championship medals in both beach and indoor volleyball.
