Dana Rettke

Her exceptional collegiate career at the University of Wisconsin–Madison began in 2017, where she pursued a business marketing degree while achieving an unprecedented five consecutive AVCA First Team All-American honors from 2017 to 2021, a historical first for the AVCA. Rettke consistently earned All-Big Ten honors throughout her tenure and was twice named the Big Ten Female Athlete of the Year in 2019-20 and 2021-22. Her dominant performance during the championship season also led to her receiving the prestigious 2021-22 Honda Sports Award for women’s volleyball, recognizing her as the nation’s top collegiate female player. Rettke’s transition to the elite international stage began with her senior national team debut at the 2019 Volleyball Nations League, where she was instrumental in helping the USA Volleyball Women’s National Team secure a gold medal.

Concurrently, she maintained her commitment to the U.S. National Team, earning a silver medal at the 2023 NORCECA Continental Championship, further underscoring her ongoing international competitiveness. Her professional trajectory continued with a significant move in May 2024, signing with the esteemed Turkish club Eczac?ba?? Dynavit, one of the world’s premier volleyball organizations. Most recently, Rettke proudly represented the United States at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, playing a pivotal role in the team’s commendable silver medal win and showcasing her consistent performance, leadership, and remarkable athleticism on the global stage.
