Warm-hearted KD Bowe is a popular American radio personality based in Atlanta, Georgia. He has worked in his industry as a presenter and producer for 30 years and in that time, he has become hugely liked, respected, and influential. As well as his radio endeavours, he has become popular in his hometown as the in-game announcer for the Atlanta Falcons NFL team, earning himself the nickname “The Rage on the Stage”.
Bowe’s first experiences of radio broadcasting came during his time studying at WRVS-FM, the station of Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina in the opening years of the 1990s. However, his big break came when he began presenting the morning show on the Sheridan Gospel Network, broadcast across 35 states to a huge audience of religious listeners. He hosted the show for over 15 years, an incredible achievement in the notoriously cut-throat world of commercial radio and a testament to his talent and his warm, engaging personality.
In 2006, Bowe became a part of the Atlanta Falcons family, providing in-game on-camera entertainment during the club’s home games, something he still does to this day. Since 2011, he has been a presenter for Radio One Atlanta, one of the country’s leading African-American radio networks—and certainly the one with the biggest audience. In 2017, he set up his own production company to further his already remarkable resume, providing everything from radio content to television voiceovers. With over 123,000 followers of his radio show’s Facebook page, 30 years into his career, he is more popular than ever.
