Keenan Alexander Allen, born on April 27, 1992, in Greensboro, North Carolina, established himself as a multi-sport athlete early in life, excelling in football, basketball, and track at Northern Guilford High School. Initially a highly-touted defensive back recruit, Allen committed to the University of California, Berkeley, to play wide receiver alongside his half-brother, Zach Maynard. His collegiate career with the California Golden Bears was notable, setting a school record with 205 receptions and ranking third in receiving yards at 2,570.
