Les Snead

Les Snead has established himself as a prominent NFL executive, leading the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl victory through strategic team building. After leading the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl LVI victory in 2022, Les Snead solidified his reputation as one of the NFL’s most strategic and successful executives. Snead began his professional career in 1995 as a pro scout for the Jacksonville Jaguars, contributing to their AFC Championship appearance. He then spent 13 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons (1998-2011), progressing from pro scout to Director of Player Personnel (2009-2011).

Following Head Coach Sean McVay’s hiring in 2017, Snead continued impactful personnel decisions, acquiring key free agents Robert Woods and Andrew Whitworth. The 2017 NFL Draft also saw the No. 69 overall selection of Cooper Kupp, who achieved the receiving triple crown and Super Bowl LVI MVP. Snead’s tenure is marked by strategic, aggressive veteran trades, notably the 2021 acquisition of Matthew Stafford.

Critical mid-season 2021 additions of Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr. propelled the team to their 2022 Super Bowl LVI championship. Since 2012, Snead has orchestrated 87 trades and drafted 112 players for the Rams. He has led the franchise to seven winning seasons, six postseason appearances, two Super Bowl appearances, one world championship, making him the winningest General Manager in franchise history with 119 wins.

His contract with the Los Angeles Rams was extended through the 2026 season in 2022. Demonstrating ongoing commitment to roster development, he notably drafted Puka Nacua (177th overall) in the 2023 NFL Draft, Jared Verse (19th overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft, and Terrance Ferguson (46th overall) in the 2025 NFL Draft.
