Kenton Duty has transitioned from a notable child actor known for his roles on Disney Channel to a multi-faceted creative, expanding his career into directing and writing short films. After gaining widespread recognition for his recurring role as Young Jacob in the hit ABC series Lost in 2010, Kenton Duty went on to secure a starring role in the Disney Channel original series Shake It Up. Portraying the flamboyant dancer and fashion designer Gunther Hessenheffer alongside Caroline Sunshine, his performance resonated with audiences throughout the show’s run. Prior to this breakthrough, Duty began his professional stage career as Young Scrooge in the Dallas Theater Center’s production of A Christmas Carol in 2004.
