His debut came in 2004 when he played “Young Scrooge” in the Dallas Theater Center’s production of A Christmas Carol. This early experience paved the way for his future, leading him to audition for roles in Los Angeles after being discovered by a talent agent at a showcase performance. His early career included numerous national commercials for major brands like McDonald’s and Wal-Mart, showcasing his versatility and appeal as a young performer.
In 2007, Duty made his mark on television with a featured role in the Lifetime movie Christmas in Paradise, followed by guest appearances on popular shows such as Cold Case and The Jay Leno Show. His breakout role came in 2010 when he portrayed “Young Jacob” on the critically acclaimed series Lost, captivating audiences with his performance. Transitioning into film, Duty showcased his talent in various genres, including the suspense thriller 2:13 and the comedy Crazy on the Outside.
