Best known as the choreographer and artistic director for the Pussycat Dolls, Mikey Minden is a choreographer and dance coach that has worked with countless performers. He has worked with musicians, coached actors, and choreographed several television series.
Minden began showing interest in dancing and performing when he was just seven years old. Trained at Alvin Ailey School in New York City, his career started on Broadway as Chip in The Beauty and the Beast. He is now widely recognized as the mastermind behind the Pussycat Dolls’ brand, previously working as their artistic director and choreographer. Minden was the winner of the 2006 MTV VMA Best Dance Video for “Buttons” and won the award once again in 2008 for “When I Grow Up”. His work was featured on The CW television series Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search for the Next Doll and Pussycat Dolls Presents: Girlicious.
Minden also works as a teacher and has been featured in markets all over the world including Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles. He has been the artistic director for The Academy Awards, The Emmy Awards, and several MTV VMA and EMA awards. Minden’s dances have also been featured on commercials for companies like Best Buy, NBA, and Old Spice as well as television series such as Bones, Two and a Half Men, and Chuck. Throughout his illustrious career, he has worked with actors like Jimmy Fallon, Charlie Sheen, Cameron Diaz, and Scarlett Johannsen.
