Kevin Fredericks is a screenwriter and producer, best known for his work on Major Deal. Major Deal was a comedic indie film which follows rapper Mike Massacre, played by Karaun Harris, as he is faced by an ultimatum: get signed by his 30th birthday, or give up rap forever. Major Deal was one in a string of phenomenal movies that Fredericks has been a part of, including No Good Men, The Family Exchange – which he also directed – and the mini tv series Fatherhood. Fredericks is known to focus on deep emotional issues in a lighthearted way, and this approach has even led to his own comedy club KevOnStage: Funny In Real Life.
KevOnStage sees Fredericks create one of the largest virtual comedy clubs, to adapt to the pandemic situation worldwide, he promotes socially distanced concerts and virtual at home concerts which have proved incredibly successful.
