Keyu Jin

Keyu Jin earned her Bachelor of Arts in economics from Harvard University in 2004, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in economics from the same institution in 2009, establishing her expertise in international macroeconomics and the Chinese economy. She commenced her distinguished academic career as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2009, a role she maintained until 2016. During this period, her impactful research concentrated on critical areas including global trade imbalances, global asset prices, and China’s intricate economic growth model, forming the bedrock of her specialized insights. Jin’s career at LSE evolved significantly; she was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016 and concluded a remarkable 15-year tenure as a tenured professor in 2024.
