Kingsley Ben-Adir

Kingsley Ben-Adir has established himself as a versatile British actor known for his compelling portrayals of historical figures and diverse characters across film and television. After honing his craft at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, graduating in 2011, Kingsley Ben-Adir launched his career in theatre with acclaimed performances. He appeared in Gillian Slovo’s ‘The Riots’ at the Tricycle Theatre in 2011, followed by Demetrius in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2012. He continued his stage work with roles such as Borachio in Mark Rylance’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ at The Old Vic and ‘God’s Property’ at Soho Theatre, both in 2013.

In 2023, Ben-Adir made his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Gravik in the ‘Secret Invasion’ miniseries and garnered further attention with his appearance in the blockbuster film ‘Barbie’. Most recently, he took on the challenging titular role of Bob Marley in the highly anticipated 2024 biopic ‘Bob Marley: One Love’, further solidifying his reputation for impactful historical portrayals. He is also slated to perform in ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof’ at Almeida in 2024, continuing to balance acclaimed screen and stage work.
