Kristen Renton began her acting career at 17, with an early role in MTV’s “The Sausage Factory.” Her career progressed with a recurring role as Morgan Hollingsworth on NBC’s daytime drama, “Days of Our Lives,” where she appeared in 82 episodes between 2007 and 2008. From 2009 to 2013, Renton gained recognition for her recurring role as Ima Tite in 12 episodes of the FX series, “Sons of Anarchy,” a drama focusing on a fictitious motorcycle club. In addition to these prominent roles, she made guest appearances on various television shows including “CSI: Miami,” “The OC,” and “CSI: NY.” In the early 2010s, Renton expanded her work to include comedic roles, notably as Allie, Charlie Sheen’s love interest, in two episodes of “Anger Management” between 2012 and 2014.
Renton has also participated in several independent film projects. She won “Best Actress” at the Claremont Film Festival for her short film “Love In Our Time,” which she co-produced in 2013. She appeared in “Battle Scars” (2015), a film that depicted the challenges faced by military personnel readjusting to civilian life after war, which received the Festival Founders Choice Award for Feature Film at the 2015 GI Film Festival. More recently, she starred as Angela Dutton in “First Shift” (2024), a role she is set to reprise in two upcoming post-production sequels, “First Shift: Vengeance” and “First Shift: Redemption.
Beyond her acting career, Kristen Renton is deeply committed to philanthropic endeavors and animal advocacy. She co-hosts “World Animal News,” a weekly show on TRadioV, which addresses various animal issues. Her advocacy extends to active support for organizations such as Boxer Rescue LA, ASPCA, Dogs for the Deaf, HSUS, Save the Manatee Club, and SPCA. Renton also serves as an ambassador for Lupus LA and is involved with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Children’s Hospital LA, The Dream Builders Foundation, and Delivering Dreams, dedicating her time to charitable events. She is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University.
