Kunlavut Vitidsarn, known as “View”, was born on May 11, 2001, in Chonburi, Thailand. He began his professional badminton career at a young age, showcasing talent that quickly led to national and international junior successes. Vitidsarn holds the distinction of being the first men’s singles player to win three BWF World Junior Championships titles consecutively in 2017, 2018, and 2019. During his junior career, he also secured a gold medal at the Asian Junior Championships in 2019 and a silver medal at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in the mixed team event. These early achievements established him as a prominent figure in the junior badminton circuit.

Transitioning into his senior career, Vitidsarn continued his ascent in the sport. In 2022, he earned a silver medal at the BWF World Championships. The following year, 2023, marked a turning point as he secured the gold medal at the BWF World Championships, becoming the first Thai player to win this title in men’s singles. This achievement contributed to his highest BWF world ranking of third. In 2024, Vitidsarn achieved an Olympic silver medal at the Paris Games, making him the first Thai athlete to earn an Olympic medal in badminton. In 2025, he further cemented his status by winning the Asian Championships title and achieving the world number one ranking in men’s singles, a historic first for Thailand.
