LA-based choreographer and creative director Kyle Hanagami has become one of the most sought after talents in the dance industry. The rising star has worked with some of the world’s biggest artists, including BLACKPINK, Justine Beiber, Alicia Keys and Britney Spears. In 2020 he was recognised for his talent when he won the iHeart Music Award for ‘Favorite Music Video Choreography’ for his work on BlackPink’s ‘Kill This Love’.
Hanagami has taken the world of social media by storm, with more than 4.5 million YouTube Subscribers and over 1 billion views, and millions more followers across Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. His easily recognisable, captivating choreography has bridged the gap between the digital world and the entertainment industry, and has led to partnerships with major globally recognized brands including Calvin Klein, Netflix, Nike, Crocs, Samsung and Disney and credits choreographing for Nickelodeon, X Factor and Fanta.
Hanagami is on faculty at three of LA’s top studios as a dance teacher; the Edge Performing Arts Center, Movement Lifestyle and Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Movement Lifestyle. He has been recognised with several awards and accolades including Performance of the Year at Carnival Choreographers Ball and in the Class of the Year by The Industry Voice Awards for his work at Debbie Reynolds and Edge. The star attributes his rapidly rising career to social media platform YouTube and to his millions of loyal fans.
