Lawrence Tynes, a two-time Super Bowl Champion, transitioned from an NFL placekicker to a Director of Sports at Creative Planning, leveraging his athletic career into financial advisory. After playing college football at Troy University, Lawrence Tynes entered the NFL in 2001 as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Kansas City Chiefs. His early professional journey included a stint on the Chiefs’ practice squad, playing for the Scottish Claymores in NFL Europe in 2002, and with the Ottawa Renegades in the Canadian Football League from 2002 to 2003. Tynes returned to the Kansas City Chiefs from 2004 to 2006, where he established himself as a reliable NFL placekicker.

Tynes holds the unique NFL distinction of being the only player in history with two overtime game-winning field goals in the playoffs. His career-high performance saw him make 33 field goals out of 39 opportunities during the 2012 season with the Giants.
