Leigh Francis

Leigh Francis is an English television presenter, comedian, actor, and writer, widely recognized for his character-based comedy across successful Channel 4 and ITV shows. After creating and starring in the groundbreaking sketch comedy series Bo’ Selecta!, which premiered on Channel 4 in 2002, Leigh Francis went on to establish himself as a prolific television presenter, comedian, actor, and writer. His major breakthrough with Bo’ Selecta! saw him impersonating celebrities through signature face masks alongside his original character, Avid Merrion.

This led to his long-standing role as presenter of the hugely successful Celebrity Juice, which he fronted for an impressive 26 series from 2008 until 2022, becoming a staple in UK television. Demonstrating his versatility, Francis also co-hosted ‘Sing If You Can’ in 2011 and presented ‘Keith Lemon’s LemonAid’ in 2012. His cinematic debut came in 2012, starring in his feature film, Keith Lemon: The Film. Francis continued to diversify his portfolio, taking on the presenting role for the popular entertainment show ‘Through the Keyhole’ from 2013 to 2019.

In 2024, he showcased his skills outside of comedy by winning ‘The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer’. Further expanding his theatrical work, Francis made a one-off cameo appearance in the West End production of Back to the Future the Musical in 2024, underscoring his dynamic presence across various entertainment platforms.
