Liam Harrison claimed the W.A.K.O. Pro low-kick kickboxing world title in 2004, defeating Emannuel Di Profetis by technical knockout in Italy. This landmark achievement followed a period of intense development in the UK, where Harrison trained under Richard Smith at the renowned Bad Company gym. He made his professional debut with a first-round knockout victory in 1999 and went on to secure the S.I.M.T.A.
That same year, Harrison was awarded ‘Leeds Sports Federation Sportsman of the Year.’ A pivotal moment arrived in 2007 when he won the W.M.C. lightweight world title after a fourth-round knockout against Numphon PK Sterio in Manchester, a victory that earned him recognition as Muay Siam magazine’s top foreign fighter of the year. Throughout his extensive career, Harrison has amassed an impressive professional record of 120 fights, including 92 wins with 50 by knockout, 26 losses, and 2 draws. His impactful presence led to him signing a non-exclusive deal with major organization ONE Championship in 2018.
Despite navigating significant challenges and injuries, Harrison consistently demonstrated resilience, making multiple comebacks to the competitive arena. Most recently, Harrison made a powerful return to the ring in 2025, securing the prestigious WBC Muay Thai Diamond Belt against Isaac Araya via technical knockout. This victory marked a significant milestone, showcasing his enduring dominance and strategic skill in the sport.
