Lindsey Lomis, born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, began her musical journey at a young age. She started writing songs around the age of 11, after learning to play the guitar, and performed at local children’s open mic events in downtown Nashville. Her early experiences in Nashville’s diverse live music scene helped shape her unique sound, which blends elements of jazz, neo-soul, and pop. Lomis has cited artists such as Amy Winehouse, Allen Stone, and Tori Kelly as influences, emphasizing an organic sound and thoughtful lyricism in her work.
Lomis released her first single at the age of 12, marking an early start to her recording career. This was followed by her first EP, released in January 2019. Her single “Meant to Be Broken” garnered critical recognition, being named a favorite local song of 2018 by the Nashville Scene.
