New York-based Lane’s fashion career began as a Sales intern at Gucci, and then at Michael Kors. She moved into PR in 2005 at Lizzy Grubman in New York, before working as a Stylist Intern for Elle Magazine. She then joined the luxury department store Barneys New York as an Assistant Personal Shopper, and quickly became the company’s youngest Personal Shopper in their history. After Barneys, she establish her own company, Lindsi Michelle Lane LLC, where she became a personal stylist. Since 2013 she has also been a Style Expert and Blogger. She has appeared as a lifestyle expert on countless morning TV shows, and has been featured across the media in publications such as the New York Times, Fashionista, E!, People, and Brides. She has also collaborated with many leading global brands, including Vogue, Louis Vuitton, Dyson, and Coty.

Lane regularly connects with her legions of followers and fans through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, posting pictures and videos of her glamorous life around fashion.
