His initial professional engagement was as an ensemble member in the Broadway musical “Wicked,” which ran for 13 months at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne. Following this, Brownlie moved to Los Angeles in 2009 and secured representation with McDonald Selznick Associates (MSA). This move marked the beginning of his work with high-profile artists and productions, establishing him as a dancer in the international entertainment scene.
Brownlie’s career expanded significantly after his move to Los Angeles. He toured globally with Katy Perry on her “California Dreams World Tour” and “The Prismatic World Tour.” He also performed during Perry’s 2015 Super Bowl Halftime Show, participated in presidential campaign shows, and appeared in two feature films. In 2013, he joined Taylor Swift’s “RED” tour across the United States. His resume includes collaborations with Britney Spears on her “Domination” Vegas residency show, work with Erika Jayne (RHOBH), and performing on Jennifer Lopez’s “It’s My Party” Tour in 2019. In addition to pop music performances, Brownlie returned to Broadway to perform in a recast of “Wicked” in New York. His television credits include appearances on “Glee,” “Lucifer,” “True Blood,” “Hit The Floor,” “AJ & The Queen,” “Rupaul’s Drag Race,” “America’s Got Talent,” and a promotional campaign for “Magic Mike Live” on “Britain’s Got Talent.”
