Logan Gilbert is a professional baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners, recognized for his contributions as a starting pitcher and an American League All-Star. After being selected 14th overall by the Seattle Mariners in the 2018 Major League Baseball draft, Logan Gilbert had already distinguished himself as a standout pitcher at Stetson University. There, he earned consecutive ASUN Conference Pitcher of the Year honors in both 2017 and 2018. During his sophomore season in 2017, Gilbert posted an impressive 100 record with a 2.02 ERA and 107 strikeouts over 89 innings.
He followed this with an 112 record and a 2.72 ERA over 16 starts in his junior year. His collegiate success culminated in signing with the Mariners for $3.88 million on June 16, 2018. Following his draft, Gilbert’s professional debut was delayed in 2018.
