Lori Alan

Lori Alan is an accomplished actress and voice-over artist, known for iconic roles in animation and video games, bringing extensive experience and versatile vocal talent to various projects. After graduating with honors from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and honing her comedic skills as a longtime member of New York’s Gotham City Improv (Groundlings East), Lori Alan went on to establish an extensive career in voice-over, acclaimed for iconic roles across animation and video games. She is widely recognized as the voice of Pearl the Whale in SpongeBob SquarePants since its inception in 1999, Diane Simmons on Family Guy from 1999–2010, Sue Richards (The Invisible Woman) in Marvel Comics’ The Fantastic Four (1994–1996), and The Boss in the Metal Gear Solid video game trilogy (2004, 2006, 2010). Her versatile vocal talent extends to numerous Pixar films, including Wall-E (2008), Toy Story 3 (2010) as Bonnie’s Mom, and Monster’s University (2013).

Alan also dedicates her time to animal welfare advocacy, actively supporting organizations focused on rescuing and re-homing animals, and raising awareness about critical issues such as the dog meat trade, reflecting her diverse interests and dedication to social causes.
