Lorna Maseko has transitioned from a celebrated ballerina to an international celebrity chef and media personality, sharing her culinary expertise and South African heritage with a global audience. After becoming noted as the first black ballerina in South Africa in 2005, Lorna Maseko embarked on an illustrious career spanning both dance and media. Her acclaimed ballet career included international touring and performing the role of Kitri in the Pretoria production of ‘Don Quixote’ in 2007, followed by starring in ‘Carmen’ in 2009 after a return to the South African Ballet Theatre. During this period, Maseko also pursued a Bachelor of Communications at the University of South Africa, laying the groundwork for her expansive media presence.
