John Cantwell, born on December 15, 1967, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, is an American actor, writer, and drag queen performing under the stage name Love Connie. Growing up in Louisiana, Cantwell later became a member of the improvisational comedy group The Nellie Olesons, showcasing early talents in performance and writing. His acting career includes roles in notable productions such as the film “Legally Blonde” (2001), where he appeared as Maurice, and various television shows including “Dharma & Greg,” “Pushing Daisies,” and “Will & Grace.”

As Love Connie, Cantwell has gained significant recognition within the drag community and beyond. He has made multiple appearances on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” featuring as a special guest in “The Draglympics” (2019) and “50/50’s Most Gagworthy Stars” (2023), where he assisted in mini-challenges.
