About

Dylan Mark Postl was born on May 29, 1986, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA. He embarked on his professional wrestling journey in 2004, initially under the ring name Hardcore Wonder in the Fox Valley Wrestling Alliance (FVWA). In 2005, Postl gained recognition as “The World’s Sexiest Midget” Shortstack in National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Wisconsin, where he secured the NWA Wisconsin X Division Championship. He also held the SSW Tag Team Championship with Devin Diamond in 2006 before joining World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Postl joined WWE in May 2006, making his televised debut on SmackDown! as Little Bastard, the leprechaun partner of Finlay. His character evolved, officially changing to Hornswoggle in 2007, a name derived from a term meaning to swindle or hoax. A notable achievement during this period was winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at The Great American Bash in July 2007, becoming the final champion in its initial run. He later became involved in high-profile storylines, including being revealed as Mr. McMahon’s illegitimate son in 2007, a storyline that captivated audiences and led to intense feuds. His career in WWE spanned until 2016, during which he also spent time aligned with D-Generation X (DX) from 2009 to 2010, acting as their official mascot. He has since performed on the independent circuit under the name Swoggle, and had stints with Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and All Elite Wrestling.

Beyond wrestling, Postl has ventured into acting and directing. His filmography includes roles in “Muppets Most Wanted” (2014) as Prisoner One and the horror film “Leprechaun: Origins” (2014) as The Leprechaun. He also notably appeared in the web series “The JBL and Cole Show” until 2015. In 2016, he co-directed “ACW Wisconsin 12”. Postl released his autobiography, “Life Is Short And So Am I,” in 2019, co-written with Ross Owen Williams and Ian Douglass, reflecting on his experiences as a little person in and out of the wrestling industry. His diverse career highlights his adaptability and enduring presence in entertainment.
