Lucie Anastassiou

Lucie Anastassiou was born on January 10, 1993, in La Rochelle, France, and began her shooting career in 2004. She quickly demonstrated talent in skeet, leading her to accumulate numerous medals and accolades throughout her career. Anastassiou has been a significant figure in French sport shooting for over a decade, representing her country at the highest levels of competition. Her dedication to the sport is further highlighted by her long-standing collaboration with personal and national coach Bruno Rossetti, and her affiliation with BTC Chatelaillon.

Anastassiou’s career is marked by notable achievements in World Championships, World Cups, and European Championships. In 2011, she secured a silver medal in the Skeet Women Junior category at the World Championships in Belgrade. Her success continued with a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships in Osijek in the Skeet Mixed Team event. She has also achieved multiple gold medals at the European Championships, including in Skeet Women in Baku (2017) and Mixed Team events in Leobersdorf (2018) and Lonato (2024). Her performance at the European Games includes a silver medal in Women’s Skeet at the 2019 Minsk games and a bronze in Mixed Team Skeet at the 2015 Baku games.

Lucie Anastassiou has consistently competed at the Olympic Games, representing France in the Tokyo 2020 (held in 2021) and Paris 2024 editions. Her participation in events like the Skeet Women and Skeet Mixed Team at these games demonstrates her consistent presence at the pinnacle of her sport.
