Luis Tavares is a Dutch-Cape Verdean kickboxer and MMA fighter, widely known by his nickname, “The Infamous”. Born on 8 September 1991 in the vibrant city of Rotterdam, Netherlands, Tavares’ combat career has been defined by an unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with an unrelenting desire to win.
As a young boy growing up in the Netherlands, Luis Tavares was introduced to martial arts by his father, who also happened to be a kickboxer. From a very young age, Tavares displayed exceptional ability and a natural talent for the sport, which prompted his father to enroll him in a kickboxing gym at the age of six. Under the tutelage of renowned coaches and mentors, Tavares honed his skills and developed a style that was both aggressive and technically sound.
