Lukaz Leong joined the British Stunt Register (BSR) in 2015. He has doubled for numerous actors, including Benedict Wong, contributing to action sequences in various productions.
Lukaz Leong was born in London, UK, and developed an early interest in martial arts. His career in film began during his teenage years, securing his first film role in the Hindi production, “Yamla Pagla Deewana 2.” This early experience laid the groundwork for his progression into larger productions. Leong attended the University of Sussex before fully dedicating himself to his craft. Over subsequent years, he secured roles with increasing prominence, including work on “24: Live Another Day” in 2014 and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” in 2015, demonstrating his versatility across varied projects.
Leong’s work continued to expand into major franchises. In 2016, he appeared in “Now You See Me 2” and landed his first role in the Star Wars series. This led to further involvement, making him a recurring member of the stunt team for the franchise, including “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker” in 2019, where he was credited as an actor playing The Knight of Ren. His stunt work has been featured in a diverse range of action and horror films, such as “Life” (2017), “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil,” and “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.” He further showcased his capabilities as a stunt double in a notable episode of the Netflix series “Black Mirror,” highlighting his ability to adapt to different storytelling formats.
His career includes contributions to ongoing major releases. He was involved in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” and has continued to work on projects such as “Deadpool & Wolverine” (2024), “The Girl with All the Gifts” (2016), and “Jurassic World: Dominion” (2022) as a stunt performer. Leong recently provided stunt work for “The Marvels” (2023), “Meg 2: The Trench” (2023), and “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” (2024). His acting credits also include playing an MI6 Team Member in “Heart of Stone” (2023) and a bodyguard in the upcoming “Forbidden City” (2025). Leong also serves as an action camera operator, action director, and fight choreographer, expanding his contribution to film production beyond performance.
